Camping in the UK has been described as a "great budget option" by the British Resorts and Destinations Association (Brada) this week.
According to the association, camping is a particularly attractive option for younger people, who have the freedom to get on their bikes with a light backpack and head off into the great unknown.
Peter Hampson, director of Brada, said: "It's equally a great budget option from the more organised family side, because once you’ve bought your tents and all the bits and pieces then it’s an investment that you've got."
